Regional Stakeholder Meeting: Digital Transformation

On Tuesday, 15 September 2020, in cooperation with Association of Municipalities and Towns of Slovenia (SOS), within the 2nd meeting of the Commission for Digital Transformation, a regional stakeholder meeting was held at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

The overall interactive meeting addressed some of the key issues of the digital transformation process: funding (Nena Dokuzov from Ministry of Economic Development and Technology) and future tender opportunities for smart cities and communities (Jurij Dolžan from Ministry of Public Administration), presentation of 3 successful Slovenian projects within the Intelligent Cities Challenge (ICC) and presentation of the Digital  Services for Europe Tool in collaboration between dr. Emilija Stojmenova Duh and Hillen Ost from the Association of Municipalities of Netherlands. Dr. Stojmenova Duh has presented the CARPE DIGEM project and future planned activities regarding the tool for digital maturity assessment of regions.

The productive meeting came into a close by examining the state of the inclusion of the municipal services within the e-government services (Ksenija Dren) and preposition for further activities within the area of digitalization.
